What is br.st?

Br.st is a web-based Twitter client that gives users an enhanced Twitter experience. Br.st offers advanced features such as automatic link shortening and expanding, inline previews of images and videos, text shortening, sharing of images and files and much more!

Why give away all this cool stuff?

Br.st just launched in late November 2009. We needed to get the word out. We decided that instead of paying for advertising we would do this giveaway. This way some of our users get cool stuff and we get the word out about br.st - we all win! (ok, well only 25 people win, but you get the point) :)

Are you really giving away 4 MacBook Pros and 21 Nintendo Wii systems?

Yes! We are drawing a winner for each of the MacBooks on December 4, 11, 18, and 25, 2009 and for the Wii systems on December 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, and 24, 2009.

Now since we know that not everybody will want or be able to use a MacBook or a Wii, you can choose to have us send you the money instead: $1,199.00 USD for the MacBook or $199.00 USD for the Wii.

How do I enter to win?

You must have a Twitter account. Go here to get one. (its quick and painless)

1.	Login to br.st.
2.	To enter the Nintendo Wii giveaway, post a tweet containing: "http://br.st #wiigiveaway". To enter the Apple MacBook Pro giveaway, post a tweet containing: "http://br.st #macgiveaway". Or upload an image or file using br.st, then post a tweet with the br.st link to the uploaded image or file. This will give you one (1) entry in to both the Wii and MacBook giveaway.
3.	The tweet must be done using the br.st web-based Twitter client and you must be following @brdotst to win.
4.	NOTE: You must re-enter the contest every day for the Nintendo Wii and every week for the MacBook Pro.

You can enter up to five (5) times per day, per giveaway (so five for the Wii and five for the MacBook).

No. Your tweet has to be public, we are trying to build buzz about br.st, so it has to be tweeted on a public Twitter account. Sorry.

What time and where are you announcing the winner each day?

The winner will be announced at 7:00 PM UTC (12:00 PM Arizona / 2:00 PM EST) on http://br.st/giveaway and via the @brdotst Twitter account.

Do I have to follow @brdotst on Twitter to win?

Yes, because if you win, we are going to direct message you. If you are not following @brdotst then we cannot tell you that you won!

How long is this awesome giveaway going on?

From now until Friday, December 25, 2009 when the last winner is drawn.

Are you giving away prizes on Saturdays and Sundays too?

Yes, we rock the weekends around here!

Do I have to live/work/play or be a resident of the United States to enter?

No way! We love our international users. Shout out to our users in China, Japan, South America, and Europe!

What if I don't want a US MacBook or a US Wii system?

Then just choose the cash option instead. See the giveaway rules section 7.

Does tweeting about how cool br.st is and how it is the only Twitter client I will ever use from now on help my chances of winning?

Technically no, but we always appreciate the love.

How old do I have to be to enter the giveaway?

You have to be at least 13 years old.
